Beezy Day
For the first photo I took, I wanted to capture a patch of flowers with some bees. I took this picture in a campground that my friend invited me to and we hung out there for a couple of hours. I chose this area because I love nature especially near lakes because it provides beautiful vegetation like this one in the picture. Some errors I had with this pic was getting good lighting since I arrived at the campground around noon when the sun was in the center of the sky, which in turn gives harsh shadows and is not the best time to take pictures. Another error I had was that the bees kept moving around. Luckily, my camera has different options of taking a picture so I switched to the action option on my camera, this happens to be one of my triumphs for this picture. The feeling I was trying to convey was, we are all busy but we need time to relax and so I portrayed the bee as us at work but the flower as nature for relaxation.
Mizu
For the next picture, I wanted to take a picture of the lake that was nearby the campground. Again I chose the campground as my choice of area for my pictures because I love nature that has at least one body of water. The feeling I’m trying to convey is serenity, calmness, and self reflection. Usually staring out into a vast body of water is rather calming in a sense and it helps oneself with self reflection and memories/past moments. I didn’t have much errors with this picture but my triumphs was that I wanted this picture to be more like in the afternoon and so I got that chance. I also have the fast motion capturing option on my camera so that’s how I got the ripples to be stuck in like a freeze frame.
Sunset Wood of Art
For the last picture, I wanted to take a picture of the lake but when it was near the evening of my journey at the campground because that’s when it’s most beautiful. I chose this specific detail because sunsets are absolutely stunning and really catch people’s eyes. Honestly, water is the best compatible thing for a sunset because again, water is calming and gives self reflection to people. The feel I was going for was again like the one I said for Mizu which was serenity, calmness, and self reflection. There wasn’t much errors for this picture because it was just mainly focusing on the log in the picture. The triumphs I had was having my ideas actually come to life on my camera.
