So the picture I got to take was during a rainy weather downtown. I didn’t get to choose what weather I had to take this photo in because out of nowhere it started to downpour. The feeling I wanted to portray in this picture is a space out feeling just listening to the rain outside. The trials I had to go through was fixing the settings on my camera so that the color of the image wasn’t so saturated and enveloped by an orange and yellow look. The triumphs I had with this piece is that I got the setting that I wanted and that the window pane was pretty still when I took the shot. It was also kind of getting dark so the light from the window actually helped.
We The People
This picture was also taken during a rainy weather downtown near the Diag. I didn’t get to choose what weather to take it in so I had to take the picture in the conditions I was given. The feeling I wanted to portray was pride and remembrance of US History. The triumphs I had with this was that it wasn’t raining when I took this. Some errors I had was the lighting on my settings so that the colors weren’t really warm but more cool because it was a cloudy day. That was basically also my trials as well just adjusting the settings.
Temple Labyrinth
This picture was also taken during a rainy weather downtown near the history museum. I didn’t get to choose the weather but I chose this area because during summer at Top of The Park, I came across this area and thought it was interesting because the pillars carrying this huge walk way looked like it was an upside down Temple or Labyrinth. The feelings I was trying to portray was adventure and some excitement. The triumphs I had with this piece was it took me one shot. I really liked the lighting because my settings was on different tab and not on a usual tab for evening shots. I didn’t have any errors because it was taken once.
