Shadows
Loom
I will be talking about my photograph called "Loom." The place I chose to shoot was downtown near the building nicknamed "The Potato Chip" building. I chose this area because I was fond of the lighting and when my friend went into the area, I noticed that the his shadow was looming over him, hence the name "Loom." This was a one time shot and I didn't have any real problems except for that it was night time. The lucky thing for me was that the lights near the potato chip building kept the picture clean, which is one of my triumphs. The feeling I wanted to convey in this picture is a sense of maybe humbleness and reflection since my friend's pose was in a position of pride and confidence and that the shadow emphasized his position and characteristic.

Reflections
Locker Hallways
Locker Hallways was rather pleasing to my eyes when I first took the picture. The place I chose to shoot was Skyline High School during after hours. I chose this time and place because crowds don't capture the essence of elongated hallways so I chose one of my friends to be my subject. I didn't have trouble shooting this picture because it was a one time click of the camera, which was a very satisfying triumph for me. I guess some errors with my shoot was that the lighting was a bit weird so I had to photoshop it black and white. The messages or feelings I was trying to convey in this piece was solitude and peace.
